The Hawaii State Art Museum is a part of the Art in Public Places Program of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts, a state government agency. Featuring contemporary artwork connected to Hawaii and free, family-friendly events, the Hawaii State Art Museum in downtown Honolulu shares stories about our islands through art. Admission is always free. The museum lawn, courtyard, and sculpture garden are available as rental venues for weddings, parties, and other special events.
