ADA Accessibility
The Hawaiʻi Convention Center (HCC) is an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant facility. We work with meeting planners and event organizers to provide reasonable accommodations for all of our attendees. Each event organizer has their own team who can answer specific questions about their event. Guests that need accommodations such as large print materials, Braille, sign language/oral interpreters or other special needs during an event, should contact the event organizer.

HCC meeting rooms and elevator signs contain Braille text and raised characters for guests with vision loss. If materials for an event are needed in large print, Braille or audio formats, please contact your event organizer who will be able to assist. If materials related to the Center are needed, please contact your Event Manager or email eventinfo@hccasm.com.
Elevators
All floors of HCC are accessible by elevator. Each elevator is equipped to accommodate persons needing assistance. Elevators are located in the lobby and from the Ala Wai Promenade.
Emergency
HCC personnel have been trained in proper emergency preparedness. Guests with disabilities needing special assistance in case of an emergency should advise their meeting planner in advance of or at the event. In the event of an emergency, all guests should follow the direction of Security and HCC staff.
