Biographical Information
Bliss Kaneshiro is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Hawaii. Dr. Kaneshiro received her medical degree from the University of Hawaii and went on to complete an internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Following residency, Dr. Kaneshiro relocated to Portland Oregon to join Oregon Health and Science University. In addition to teaching residents and medical students, she furthered her own education and received a Master's in Public Health Degree with a focus on epidemiology and biostatistics.

Dr. Kaneshiro moved back to Hawaii in 2007 to rejoin the University of Hawaii. Her expertise is in contraception and she is the Primary Investigator on several large research studies. Dr. Kaneshiro's research has been published in the medical journal Contraception, the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Hawaii Medical Journal.
