huki: a canoe celebration

Come experience our canoe show sure to both inspire and entertain

A new midday production explodes with Polynesian spirit, stories, and fun depicting the allure and adventure of ocean life through ancient myths and customs, inspiring local history, and favorite island songs.

Every day at 2:30 pm, guests gather around Hawai'i's only water performance venue - the magnificent PCC lagoon. Double-hulled canoes bring talented dancers, singers, and islanders right to the water's edge and everyone joins in the fun. In Hawaiian, Huki means to pull. From the legend of Maui pulling up the islands, to the history of Laie pulling fishing nets at its world-famous hukilau, Huki reminds us that the ocean doesn't divide us, it unites us. And as we pull together, we're one ohana, sharing aloha.

Huki is unique not only in the story it shares, but in how it is presented. Live musicians set the tone while native performers present our epic tale while floating upon a beautiful lagoon on large double hulled canoes.
