Our interpretation of the Japanese culinary tradition of kaiseki is as much about the way the meal leaves you feeling—nourished, balanced, and vibrant—as it is about the thoughtful methods of kaiseki.
What we admire about the kaiseki tradition is the practice of harvesting ingredients at peak freshness, the sensitivity to subtle flavors and a multi course meal highlighting time and place through refined cooking techniques that transform a meal into a journey. We infuse this Japanese art form with the flavors and traditions of Kaua‘i to create a distinct experience we call Kauaian Kaiseki.
