Clippers Hawai‘i Classic Presented By Kaiser Permanente Announces Fan Fest

Meet the L.A. Clippers live and in person on Sept. 30th

HONOLULU – AEG Facilities (AEG) today announced Fan Fest will be held on Sept. 30 from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. at the Hawai‘i Convention Center. Fan Fest is a free community celebration open to the public where fans can meet legendary players from the L.A. Clippers and participate in a variety of exciting activities.

Fan Fest is a part of the Clippers Hawai‘i Classic, a two-game NBA showcase event in Honolulu, presented by Kaiser Permanente, the nation’s largest integrated health care system.

Kaiser Permanente believes when you maximize your total health – mind, body and spirit – you thrive. Stop by the Kaiser Permanente interactive booth at the Clippers Hawai‘i Classic Fan Fest for your own thrive experiences. Try out the hydration station with homemade fruit-flavored drinks, learn more about building a healthy plate, how to prevent sports injuries, or grab your friends to take your own Kaiser Permanente photo. Just for stopping by, you will also receive fun giveaways to commemorate the day.

In addition to the chance to meet the L.A. Clippers, Fan Fest will consist of fun family activities, such as games, competitions, a variety of food and beverages, arts and crafts, and a basketball skills workshop with NBA players and coaches. Opportunities for pictures and autographs with the team will be available, as well as opportunities to win signed athletic-wear merchandise.

The Clippers Hawai‘i Classic will feature the L.A. Clippers playing the Toronto Raptors in two preseason games, October 1st and October 3rd, at the Stan Sheriff Center. The Clippers are also holding training camp in Honolulu. The Clippers Hawai‘i Classic will provide a rare opportunity for sports fans in Hawai‘i to see two of the NBA’s most talented teams in person, both of which participated in the 2016-2017 NBA playoffs.

General tickets to the Clippers Hawai‘i Classic are on sale now at etickethawaii.com.

Fan Fest is free and open to the public; however, we encourage fans to register their attendance here.

About LA Clippers

The L.A. Clippers play in the Pacific Division of the Western Conference of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The Clippers have won two division titles (2013, 2014) and are coached by Doc Rivers. Under the vision of owner Steve Ballmer, the Clippers have emerged as one of the most innovative franchises and business partners in basketball. The Clippers are in the midst of a 220-plus game sell-out streak and offer a variety of ticketing solutions for fans, including big game plans, weekend packages and single-game tickets. Tickets for home games at STAPLES Center can be purchased at www.clippers.com/tickets.

In addition to on-court success, the Clippers are committed to making a difference in Southern California through numerous community programs and the L.A. Clippers Foundation. On September 11, 2015, the Clippers Foundation made a historic three-year, $3 million commitment to City Year Los Angeles, providing City Year the capacity to improve the lives and graduation rates of students in five of L.A.’s highest need elementary schools. This is the largest donation City Year has received from the private sector, and is also the single largest cash gift in the history of the L.A. Clippers.
